The design of the instant lash product is very similar to that of a mascara and as simple to apply too. However this product has very noticeable tiny strands on the head of the brush, these are the lash technology nylon fibres which attach themselves to the natural lash, enhancing the length.

The directions supplied with the product instruct you to brush the tiny nylon strands onto the ends of your natural lashes. Repeating this action allows you to build up the desired length and thickness. Concentrating on the ends of the lashes first is vital in order for the product to set properly. 

After the nylon fibres have taken to the tips of the lashes a further application from the root, upwards is necessary in order to apply the thickening fibres to the rest of the eyelash to support the weight of the extended lashes.

It is very important to do this all as swiftly as possible, as once the product is dry it is set and can no longer be built up. Once dry the product can last up to 24 hours.

What I love most about this product is how dark it makes the lashes, it is a really thick black formula which really makes the lashes stand out.

I followed the directions very carefully really hoping that my lashes would really take the product and give me the maximum length the product can offer (4mm-8mm) however I found it did not make an absolutely huge difference.
