I have always been rather lucky with my skin, I never went through that adolescent skin phase that a lot of people experience. Every now and then I get a spot the size of Ben Nevis on my face (which marks the end of the world and the start of a long hibernation period until it disappears!) but the rest of the time I am pretty clear.
Up until recently I have never been one to stick to a skin care regime, I would either be too tired to take my make up off after a long day or just falling asleep and forgetting! However over the past two months or so I have been sticking to a very strict skin care regime and after reading an article on the long term damaging effects of makeup on the skin, I will be sticking to this regime 100%!!!
Below are pictures taken from the article I read online. The woman below did not remove her makeup at night for a month... over this period she aged 10 years!

The results of the above test are almost unbelievable. I decided to write this post to encourage you all to purchase and use, in my opinion, the best skin care products on the market. Simple.
Many celebrities swear by Simple, the first UK brand whose products contained zero perfume and zero colour making them suitable for all skin types, including the most sensitive.
Below is my current collection of skincare essentials, including the Simple cleanse, tone and moisturise range. Along with those 3 key products, I also have the simple moisture mist which can be sprayed directly on to the face at any time of the day to give a boost of moisture and can even be sprayed on top of make up. The eye make-up and face make-up wipes come in handy when staying over a friends or on a weekend away when the cleansing range is just too big to squeeze in your already over packed travel bag!
As the winter months start to approach it is even more essential to keep our skin moisturised, the cold and dry atmosphere through winter can have awfully damaging effects on our skin, however this can be prevented by sticking to a strict regime. I would personally recommend Simples 'Kind to Skin: Replenishing Rich Moisturiser' which is a little thicker and absorbs really well. It leaves a protective shield over your skin and creates a fantastic base for make up.
